According to a report released on Tuesday, Amazon has successfully eliminated six million counterfeit items from its global supply chain in 2022. In 2022, Amazon prevented over 800,000 attempts to create such accounts, which is a significant reduction from 2.5 million attempts in 2021 and six million attempts in 2020.

The report also revealed that Amazon’s Counterfeit Crimes Unit has sued or referred over 1,300 criminals for investigation in the US, UK, EU, and China in 2022.
