Mody University placements beat Covid blues, hitting new highs!

COVID-19 has hurt the placements season across India and many institutions are facing poor recruitment statistics this year. Different institutions are striving to minimize the adverse impact of on-campus recruitments.

Amidst this pandemic blues, Mody University of Science & Technology is achieving new highs in terms of not only the quantity but also the Quality of the placements.

The remuneration was in the range of 4 LPA – 34.5 LPA and the average stands at around 6.5 LPA. Last year for the Batch 2020, the range was 3.5 LPA – 22.37 LPA and the average was 4.75 LPA.

The companies which offered their internship this year were Amazon, American Express, Dell, Commvault, Vmware, DE Shaw, Myntra, Athenahealth, HPE, Siemens, Walmart, Honeywell, Ericsson, Aricent, Accenture, Texas Instruments, Expedia, Infosys, Swiggy, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, AU Small Finance Bank, Axis Bank, Bank of Baroda, etc. They have offered internships to our students with stipends, ranging from Rs. 10 K to 100 K per month.

Overall Mody University’s “Companies per Student” ratio is far more competitive as compared to other peer Universities in India. We have companies per student ratio of 2.44 whereas our peers have as much as 8. Which simply means that for around 3 candidates, we have 1 recruiter whereas, for around 8 students, our peers have 1 recruiter.

Also, as far as Top Women Universities are considered, we are India’s No. 1 University in terms of Campus placements and much ahead as compared to our peer competitors.
